This school year at Newark Prep promises to be exciting for many reasons…
This, our fifth year in operation, Newark Prep finally has a complete compliment of high school classes—grades 9 through 12!
As in years past, you’ll find improvements and new additions to our facility—particularly new classrooms added, and new computers and furniture, too. Not to mention all the new teachers and support staff on board to serve the students of our grade expansion.
This important time in the life of a charter school affords us a unique opportunity to reflect on the successes of Newark Prep while addressing our weaknesses—and planning for the future of the school. Any parent or guardian interested in participating in the charter renewal process should contact Ms. Damaris Valazquez, our school secretary.
Newark Prep will begin a new Career Technical Education (CTE) program this year, that offers many opportunities for our upperclassmen to directly shape their own future with learning experiences rooted in the careers they are interested in.
And finally, this school year provides us with Newark Prep’s first graduating class of seniors: the Class of 2016! The entire Newark Prep community is excited for these young people as they complete their secondary education with us, and we assist them as they move on to college, careers and their place in the community.
As always, we are very grateful you have chosen to enroll your child at Newark Prep, and pledge to do our best to provide every student a world-class education!
Families do not pay tuition for a student to attend an online public school. Common household items and office supplies like printer ink and paper are not provided. Our enrollment consultants can help address your technological and computer questions and needs.
